The domain name provider for .de domains DENIC requires that either the owner (owner-c) or the administrative contact partner (admin-c) is located or has a residence in Germany.
If your residence is not in Germany, and you register a .de domain with us, EDIS will automatically allow you to use our free local presence service. Where one of our technology partners in Germany will be registered as the admin-c for your domain. Thus the DENIC requirements will be satisfied whilst your domain will be registered safely and securely.
There are no disadvantages for you by using this service as you will still have the ownership rights over the domain name.
