Web Host Cancellation

A hosting package can be cancelled at any time. The notice of cancellation has to be done in writing by the contracting party and be signed or include the official company signature.

Notices of cancellation can be accepted up to 6 weeks at the latest before the current period of service expires. The respective period of service can be seen on your invoice or online in the customer’s area. If notice of cancellation arrives too late, a new period of service must be invoiced – even if the cancellation is done promptly. Unpaid invoices from former service periods remain valid even after notice of cancellation has taken place.

A web host can be cancelled with immediate effect or after the current period of service has expired. According to the chosen time, the memory space inclusive of all web sites, email addresses and data bases (if applicable) on it are deleted and no longer technically viable.

Please note that a web host cancellation only refers to this web host and does not affect the domain names connected to it - the domain names remain registered.
